What is the best part about working for SwimWest every day?
The best part of working at SwimWest is having the opportunity to develop our next generation of incredible leaders and creating connections with our swimmers to further our mission of water safety.
What do you believe makes you a great General Manager?
I believe active listening is one of the most important life skills to continue to develop within myself which in turn continues to help me be a creative problem solver for my team members and families.
Share a childhood memory about your experience with swim lessons.
I remember getting in the water at 8:30am in the morning to a freezing cold outdoor pool and smiling through my shivers each lesson. I am so grateful that I have been able to keep the water a part of my life, but now in the comfort of 89 degrees!
What favorite memory do you have from working at Swim West?
There have been many amazing memories but if I have to pick one, I would say working with Tri4Schools annually and being able to help children in the community train for the swim portion of a triathlon.
Share a childhood memory when you were brave and overcame fear.
When I was in middle school I wanted to challenge myself to be more confident speaking in front of others, so I joined the Forensics team. I was incredibly nervous for my first competition but each time it became easier and I could see my confidence increase.
